Christmas Lighting

So my family and I went to "Country Christmas" a resort that goes all out for Christmas lights. (http://www.thecountrychristmas.com/) The largest drive through display in Wisconsin. It was super nifty. Here are 5 pictures from the place, afterwards we went to "Candy Cane Lane" a neighborhood that decked out with lights and took donations for Cancer Research.
Poinsettias! Uncle Dave has recently learned to say the name of this special Christmas flower.
Random Fact: In nature, poinsettias are perennial flowering shrubs that can grow to ten feet tall.
Packers! You know your in Wisconsin when.....
Random Fact: Packers beat the Bears!!!!
From the Nativity set. This lady was my favorite character/statue.
Random Fact: The whole set was a exact replica of the one in the Vatican
Kangaroos playing saxophones? Only here would you see that... [=
Random Fact: A newborn kangaroo is between the size of a grain of rice to the size of a honeybee!
Candy Cane! My favorite Holiday sweet.
Random Fact: The candy cane was originally made upside down as a "J" and the colors stood for the blood of Christ and the purity of his sacrifice.
One of my favorite home displays from Candy Cane Lane. Jack Skellington! And on top of it on the wall of their home they had "John 3:16". Now if that is not cool I don't know what is!

Have a joyous Christmas
Go and look at the lights
But take someone with you to both enjoy
and grab a cup of cocoa too! (or coffee or tea... which ever)
