I wrote these during my Educational and Developmental Psych class, I had help from Jimmy, who sits next to me, and Jeremy, who sits on the other side of me. Madeline and Jessica, who sit behind me and were in my group said they agree.
Enjoy.
1.) Do not read off your Power Point!
2.) Limit the use of "Umm" Uhhh" and "Err"
3.) Do not do the 'potty dance'
No matter how much you may need to pee, or maybe you just enjoy waddling in front of people... it's weird and distracting so stop.
4.) Use hand motions correctly
They shout not distract people from your topic, neither should they bring undue attention to anything
5.) Do not fiddle with your jacket, hair, pocket etc...
6.) Use vocal inflection
It makes things more interesting.
7.) Use proper sentences and structure
8.) (tip of Jimmy) Don't be creepy
9.) Do not talk when your input is not needed, or asked for
10.) Know your information
The purpose is to share what you know so others understand
11.) Limit the amount of words on a slide. At most 8 words per bullet and 3 bullets per slide
12.) Use eye contact

(me) Look at each person at least once
13.) Practice Practice Practice
14.) Laughter makes things better
15.) Make a creative presentation
16.) Dress professionally
When in groups, color coordination looks wonderful and well thought/put together
17.) Know the order in which you will present
For a single person, understand where you want to talk about things
In a group, understand who is talking when
18.) As a teacher, become used to, and comfortable with presenting. This will be your life for the next ___ years.
19.) (Jimmy) Use your words (rather than rambling) so you don't sound like an absolute dufus
